Our Smooth Kinked Guarnerius for Violin, made in ‘Burnt Boxwood’, with your choice of fittings.
This finish is achieved through over-exposure to our staining process, imparting a rich, dark chocolate brown colour to the wood. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the wood or the usability of the chinrest.
We’ve discounted this product owing to an imperfection running through the wood, visible in picture two. We’ve stress-tested the chinrest in house to ensure it’s as strong as any other chinrest and will not break while in use.
